Chocolate Festival

There’s so much to love about the Chocolate Festival! Each year the festival will features the dreamy, mouth-watering creations of dozens of Kenyan chocolatiers.

The food artisans present a variety of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products that tease the taste buds of over 1500 visitors. Chocoholics – ahem… that is, Chocolate Lovers – up and down the chocolate festival every year!Several tantalizing events have come to be associated with the Chocolate Festival.

1)Tasting Pass.
To taste the chocolate you will need a tasting pass. You may decide to purchase one for your family to share, or multiple. We leave that up to you! There are only 100 tasting passes so get them early! Remember if you do not purchase a tasting pass you will not be permitted into the Tasting Pass area. (adults: if you have young children we will allow them in with you. We would not separate you from your small children)
The Chocolate Tasting Pass is Ksh.2000.00. You can only purchase physical tickets or at the door.
Your General Admission is included in your tasting pass purchase.
You do not need to purchase a Ksh.500.00 admission ticket for yourself.

2) A “Chocolate Product Competition” and a “Chocolate Dessert Competition & Silent Auction” raise the bar on chocolate creations. This year, not one but TWO outrageous chocolate sculptures will be displayed in the hotel lobby – Workshops on Beer & Chocolate pairings, and Wine & Chocolate pairings, and chef demonstrations are sprinkled throughout the day on Saturday. 
Can you just imagine this year’s chocolate sculptures on display in that dazzling lobby?! And live music by our very own local deejays and Kenyan artists will serenade the chocolate indulgences throughout…

3) Chocolate festival Earthquake Ice Cream Eating Contest: Chocolate Festival Tradition! Festival attendees compete or just witness the hilarity as six lucky people eat the famous Africa's chocolate"Earthquake" Sundae as fast as they can without hands. Battling each other and their own stomachs, competitors are sure to make this experience a memorable (and delicious) one. Children also compete with a smaller version of the famous Earthquake Sundae.

Chocolate Lovers will flock yearly to indulge from far and wide for the weekend of pure chocolate heaven! 
Many decide to combine their favorite event's activities with attendance at the chocolate festival,outdoors,indulgin g in world-class spa treatments,wine tasting.

The Chocolate Festival hosts over 50 vendors,culinary demos by top dessert professionals and the popular Chocolate Lounge. The best part? 10% of the profits from this event are donated to Childrens Home.
