Cardi B Breaks Beyonce’s Record Featured

Written by

If you still have something against Cardi B, it's really time to finally let it go. She keeps piling on the records and the latest is this:

Cardi B is only the third artist and the first woman to place five of the top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in a single week since the list began in 1958 (this is for the list dated 20 January).

So who's in this exclusive club of three that she joins? None other than Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Drizzy managed to pull this off eight times in 2016 and Kendrick managed once last year.

For the charts ending 6 and 13 January, Cardi was tied with Beyonce for four simultaneous placements before smashing her record by earning five this week. As if that weren't impressive enough, Cardi B is the only artist to pull this off with their first five chart entries.

So what does it take to place five top 10 singles? A Finesse remix with Bruno Mars, G-Eazy's No Limit, Migos' Motorsport with Nicki Minaj and her own Bodak Yellow (Money Moves) and Bartier Cardi.

So, let's face facts: Cardi B is here to stay.
