Bruno Mars & Kendrick Lamar Dominate Grammy Night Featured

The month of January ended on a musical high note as music-lovers from around the world tuned in to watch the 60th annual Grammy Awards.

This year’s ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden, in New York City and was hosted by James Corden.

As we've come to expect over the years, the 2018 #Grammys left us with many talking points including the fact that Jay Z decided to abandon his 5-year-boycott of the ceremony and attend the function with his wife and eldest daughter, Blue Ivy. The performers brought their A-Game in a big way and as promised, Hollywood made a big statement in support of #MeToo and #TimesUp - two movements that are dedicated to finally equaling the playing field in the entertainment industry.
There were endless talking topics, but we can't forget why we all stayed up for the ceremony: to see who was going to walk away as this year's big winner. The night was dominated by two gentlemen: namely Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar, who won an impressive 12 awards between them.
Bruno Mars, who seemingly can do no wrong, won 7 awards on the night including "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year" for "That's What I Like" and "24k Magic" respectively.
Kendrick Lamar, meanwhile, will finally be happy to see his achievements recognised on the Grammy stage after managing to win “Rap Album of the Year” and “Best Video” for “DAMN!” and “Humble”.
As impressive as Bruno’s win-streak was, many of Kendrick Lamar’s fans are extremely disappointed that he did not walk away with “Album of the Year”.
Do you think that Kendrick should have won Album of the Year or did Bruno Mars deserve it?
