This year’s ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden, in New York City and was hosted by James Corden.
There were endless talking topics, but we can't forget why we all stayed up for the ceremony: to see who was going to walk away as this year's big winner. The night was dominated by two gentlemen: namely Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar, who won an impressive 12 awards between them.
Bruno Mars, who seemingly can do no wrong, won 7 awards on the night including "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year" for "That's What I Like" and "24k Magic" respectively.
I refuse to allow myself to be mad about this. But Kendrick Lamar now has made three albums that are all better than anything that 99% of musicians have ever put out. And he hasn’t won this damn award for any of them. How Sway.— David Helman (@HelmanDC) January 29, 2018
